Allergies In My Eyes

In the hemisphere that I currently inhabit, it is spring. The birds are screeching in pain. The flowers are blooming and poisoning me with their many pollens and dusts. Rats have made several nests in my home and I wake up each morning with fresh bites. 

It really is a glorious season, and to celebrate, I have written a lovely poem the likes of which you have never seen before and shall never see again. 

The sun, it shines
Into my mouth
The azure sky
Spreads north to south

A gentle breeze
A refreshing drink
A mess of flowers
Release their stink

A lovely evening
Hand in hand
A quietude
Becalms the land

A perfect night
For true love's kiss
A golden chance
You cannot miss

So take your love
And hold them tight
While at a concert
This springtime night
