Nashville, TN (June 8, 2026)  Country music’s last real outlaw Wheeler Walker Jr., today officially announces his retirement. That’s right, the world’s last true country artist is riding off into the sunset, flipping double birds at Music Row the entire way out. But before he disappears forever into a cloud of marijuana smoke, bad decisions, and unpaid bar tabs, Wheeler’s PULLIN’ OUT with one final album and accompanying farewell tour — a loud, filthy, bourbon-soaked middle finger aimed directly at the soul-less machine of modern Nashville. Pre-order/pre-save/pre-add PULLIN’ OUT and listen now to “F*CK This Bar” HERE. Tickets for PULLIN’ OUT: The Farewell Tour go on sale this Friday, June 12 at 10 AM/Local Time HERE.

“I can’t do this anymore,” said WWJr. “Every song in Nashville is written by twelve idiots named Chase about trucks they don’t own and farms they never worked on. I really don't wanna be around when country music becomes fully AI, which sadly will be better than most of the crap they're putting out now.”

PULLIN’ OUT is the sixth WWJr. record produced by the Grammy Award-winning Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, and Jason Isbell), Cobb’s longest producing relationship of his career. Wheeler’s last reckoning, already being touted as his strongest record since his debut, serves as his final sermon from the barstool - and after a detour into rock with his last album Ram - a return to the hard-core country he knows and loves.

Packed with savage commentary, gloriously offensive honesty, heartbreak, hangovers, and at least three songs that’ll probably get banned before release day, the record promises to remind fans what country music sounded like before the algorithms.

As he prepares to pull out of the tourist-stained redneck Vegas forever, the famed country singer will kick off Pullin’ Out: The Farewell Tour this fall. Before he disappears into rural isolation, or possibly federal custody, he’ll bring his music to major markets across North America one last time, hitting Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, Austin, Detroit, along with multiple cities throughout Canada.

Wheeler's final show will be at the Ryman on May 15th, 2027.

Over the last decade, Wheeler has released five acclaimed albums that all hit #1 on Billboard’s Comedy chart, with two of them debuting in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country chart. He has amassed more than one billion career streams and earned two PLATINUM and GOLD-certified records. Bursting onto the scene with his debut album Redneck Shit, he was the first artist to ever simultaneously chart on Billboard’s Country Album (#9) and Comedy Album (#1) charts.
